Last week was a whirlwind of action when it came to players making moves in the Heisman Watch. Jameis Winston stole Tajh Boyds front row seat for the most coveted individual trophy in college sports while Marcus Mariota made his case to be considered the favourite among favourites. This week things settled down a considerable deal, both in terms of ranked teams taking care of business on the field and the Heisman Watch. And when the dust settles who but Johnny Football is left as the Heisman favourite through nine weeks of college football action. Defending Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel reminded everyone who may have forgotten why hes still the man to beat for the award with a 305-yard, four touchdown performance against SEC opponent Vanderbilt. The Aggies chances of a National Championship are shot this season but Manziel is making sure the team is still a must-watch on a weekly basis. Meanwhile, across the country Mariotas performance wasnt nearly as sterling. But given the strength of Oregons Week 9 opponent, leading the team to a win was enough on its own to score points in the Heisman Watch. The redshirt freshman was held to just 230 yards and a touchdown against the 12th-ranked UCLA Bruins, but the win vaulted the Ducks above Florida State in the BCS rankings. And speaking of Florida State, Winston threw for 292 yards and three touchdowns and a pick in the Seminoles big win over North Carolina State to retain his spot in the proverbial Top 3. Among the fringe candidates, Louisvilles Teddy Bridgewater continued his trend of dismantling weaker opponents with a 344 yard, three touchdown performance against South Florida. Running backs Bishop Sankey and Lache Seastrunk hang around for another week as well. Vincent Janssen Jersey . Patrice Bergeron and Daniel Paille scored 20 seconds apart a few minutes after Stamkos was taken off the ice on a stretcher with a broken right leg, and the Bruins beat the Lightning 3-0 on Monday afternoon. Victor Wanyama Jersey . Mickelson shot a 2-under 70 after opening with a 77 -- his worst score of the season -- on TPC San Antonios AT&T Oaks Course. Lefty was 11 strokes behind leader Steven Bowditch, the Australian who had a 67 to reach 8-under 136. http://www.hotspurfcproshop.com/mousa-de...spur-jersey-uk/. Two weeks after suffering a concussion, Foles will start in place of Michael Vick, who is out for the second time this season with a hamstring injury. Moussa Sissoko Jersey .Jeff Green, playing in his second preseason game after missing the first four because of a calf strain, had 18 points. The Celtics (3-3) shot 47.2 per cent from the floor and made 15 of 37 3-point attempts. Georges-Kevin NKoudou Jersey . In the late match, Shinji Okazaki scored two goals to pace Mainz to a 3-2 victory at Werder Bremen. Goals from Milan Badelj, Maximilian Beister and Hakan Calhanoglu ended Hamburgs two-match losing run and kept Hannover winless in seven games.LONDON, Ont. -- London Knights goaltender Anthony Stolarz has been suspended eight games for swinging his stick at the head of Windsor Spitfires forward Josh Ho-Sang, the Ontario Hockey League team announced Wednesday. Should two-time defending champion London wrap up its first round series on Thursday night, Stolarz could miss the entire second round of playoffs. In the first period of Londons incident-filled 10-2 victory in Game 3 on Tuesday night, Ho-Sang jabbed his stick at the goaltender after a play at the net. As the Spitfires star skated away, Stolarz took a one-handed swing with his stick and hit Ho-Sung on the back of the head. The Knights said the suspension was for a "stick infraction." Stolarz, a 2012 second round puck of the Philadelphia Flyers, was given a surprisingly lenient minor penalty for high-sticking. "I apologize for my actions on Tuesday night," Stolarz said Wednesday in a statement. "Its an unfortunate situation and in no way did I intend to injure my opponent, Joshua Ho-Sang.dddddddddddd" Stolarz was not the only goalie to cause a stir. After allowing eight goals, Windsors Dalen Kuchmey skated off the ice during a TV time out with 5:34 left in the second period and didnt return. Later, coach Bob Boughner said Kuchmey "quit on his team and quit on his teammates." Boughner said he left Kuchmey in the game because regular starter Alex Fotinos was sick and would only act as backup. Fotinos then went into the game and allowed Londons final two goals. The Windsor Star reported that Kuchmey apologized to his teammates but did not intend to return to the team. He said he was embarrassed in front of the fans by being left in for so many goals. He had indicated after the sixth goal that he wanted to come out of the game. Kuchmey tweeted that "nobody knows what happens behind the scenes."
